ALGOR's multiphysics analysis software enables engineers of all disciplines to simulate a product's behavior when multiple physical phenomena interact. Multiphysics is important since real-world mechanical behavior is often the result of not one, but several, physical factors acting simultaneously. This core package includes tools and wizards to automate the application of results of one type of analysis to another for sequential multiphysics.


The Professional Multiphysics core package includes capabilities for static stress analysis with linear and nonlinear material models, Mechanical Event Simulation with linear and nonlinear material models, steady and unsteady fluid flow analysis with turbulence, steady-state and transient heat transfer analysis, electrostatic analysis and linear dynamic analysis. Mechanical Event Simulation simultaneously replicates the dynamic flexing behavior of a component or mechanism to predict stresses that may result from motion or from the interaction of the part with other independent objects.


This package also includes EAGLE, a programming language designed to assist engineers in performing repetitive tasks, conducting parametric or variational FEA studies, optimizing designs and performing FEA and Mechanical Event Simulations which require multiphysics.
